Founder & CEO
Milton James Acosta III
Founder & CEO of Empire325 Marketing. Co-founder of Root Corporation. Born in New York. Self-taught engineer turned enterprise marketing leader with a multi-year operator track record across e-commerce, real estate, AI, and institutional services.
Background
Milton James Acosta III began coding at age 12. Instead of pursuing a traditional college path, he built and operated multiple e-commerce businesses through his teens and early twenties — eventually exiting two of those operations to a major beauty industry acquirer. That operator-turned-engineer foundation shapes how Empire325 Marketing approaches every engagement: hands-on technical depth, paired with strategic discipline learned from running real businesses through real growth and real scrutiny.
Where Empire325 came from
After exiting his e-commerce operations, Milton moved into marketing — first as an in-house operator, then through Empire325 Marketing as a service organization for clients facing the same growth, conversion, and infrastructure problems he had solved for himself. Empire325 has been operating as a multi-year LLC delivering enterprise engagements across financial services, real estate, healthcare, energy, and public-market environments.
Root Corporation ecosystem
Empire325 Marketing operates as a division of Root Corporation, the parent consultancy. Milton co-founded Root Corporation alongside its other operating brands:
- Empire325 Marketing (empire325marketing.com) — institutional marketing, investor acquisition, AI engineering, and full-stack digital infrastructure for regulated industries.
- Algo Vision (algovision.co) — Milton is co-founder and CEO. AI and algorithmic solutions practice serving regulated industries.
- Root UIP (rootuip.com) — Milton is co-founder and CEO. Vertical focused on freight and logistics companies in North America.
Other operating interests
Milton owns a real estate portfolio focused on government-assistance rental housing — an active, long-cycle operation that informs Empire325's engagements with real estate investment funds and demonstrates first-hand familiarity with the regulatory and operational realities of the asset class.
How Milton works on engagements
Milton personally writes the technical assessment every Empire325 client receives in week two of an engagement. Senior practitioners — not project managers managing offshore teams — execute the work. This is intentional: Empire325's headcount is kept modest specifically so senior delivery scales without dilution.
