JSON-LD
JSON-based serialization of Linked Data, the preferred format for Schema.org structured data.
JSON-LD (JSON for Linked Data) is the W3C-recommended format for embedding Schema.org structured data in web pages. JSON-LD blocks live in <script type='application/ld+json'> tags in the page head or body. Google, Bing, and AI assistants extract JSON-LD to understand page semantics, populate rich snippets, and surface entity information. JSON-LD is preferred over Microdata and RDFa because it's separate from HTML markup, easier to maintain, and more flexible. Empire325 implements JSON-LD across every page using Schema.org types appropriate to the content — Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Product, Service, and dozens more.
